Why I Started JERN Financials
JERN Financials was built from a simple belief: business owners deserve financial clarity, not confusion. Founder-led businesses work incredibly hard to build something meaningful, yet many still feel uncertain about their numbers. Revenue may be growing, but without clear financial visibility it becomes difficult to make confident decisions about pricing, hiring, investment or growth. JERN Financials was created to change that.
Esther’s Story
JERN Financials began during one of the most defining moments of my life. I started the firm as a single mother with a three-month-old baby, determined to build a career that would allow me to both support my family and remain present in my son’s life. Traditional career paths didn’t offer the flexibility I needed, or the autonomy to build something on my own terms. Building my own firm meant I could attend school events, football matches, and the important moments that matter when raising a child — while also helping business owners build stronger financial foundations. That journey shaped the way JERN Financials operates today. We work with founders who are building businesses with ambition, but who also value structure, clarity and long-term sustainability.
